Generally, Entrepreneurship is the practice of starting new organizations, particularly new businesses generally in response to identified opportunities. The GRM confirm something about behavior of the entrepreneurship in Thailand which Thais who want to be the entrepreneur have to concern something in the war of new age business. Thais culture entrepreneur lifestyle to concern of family’s governance and that it’s mean family’s business or family support for the new business. Family’s in business need to nurture members feelings of trust and pride concerning the family and business as well as build a sense of teamwork to keep a family committed and disciplined in its relationship to the business. So, in the family council was emphasize consensus decisions around family goals and policies, openness to various viewpoints, as well as significant transparency in company operations, decision making, and ownership holdings.

The family's vision for business, its core values and the policies and guidelines that maintain family discipline. Among the policies a family council might create include:
· Employment standards for the next generation.
· Career development policies for family employees.
· Family compensation.
· Succession process, including retirement ages.
· Ownership, including buy-sell agreements.
· Dividends.

Because each of these topics, except by ownership, are clearly business policy areas, the family council would consult with the board and get the board's endorsement of the policy before it becomes official. In Thais family’s business : the family is reluctant to engage in the discussions it needs to have in the family council hire a facilitator to help organize the meetings. That will bring the successful business to family’s business too.

Entrepreneurship in Thailand

Key Finding from The global entrepreneurship monitors reported that Thailand entrepreneurs constitute a large proportion of the adult workforce. The activities of entrepreneurs provide a major impetus of commercial activity. In the 2005 GEM research Thailand had the highest TEA index with over 20 percent of the adult population claiming to be engaged in some form of entrepreneurship. A further 14 percent of adults claimed to be owner managers of businesses more than 3 ½ years old. Even adults who are not themselves active entrepreneurs profess a positive attitude towards entrepreneurial activity. Some 86 percent of adults aged between 18-64 years say they would be willing to start new businesses.

In Thailand most entrepreneurial activity is opportunistic with 13.9 percent of the population claiming to engage in this type of entrepreneurial activity. This means that individuals with an entrepreneurial mind-set perceive business opportunities and actively pursue these opportunities through some form of entrepreneurial endeavor. Sixty-nine percent of entrepreneurial activity in Thailand takes the form of small business ventures. Generally in the consumer services sector, these include such businesses as small restaurants or street stalls, small-sized spas, ‘momand-pop’ stores, and the provision of personal services such as laundry and household help. Such ventures focus on a localized market with consumers invariably from the locality where the business is situated. Government policies such as the One Tambon, One Product (OTOP) initiative encourage people to engage in entrepreneurship.

Some Thai social and cultural norms may help explain the high levels of entrepreneurship nationally. Worth particular mention is the positive attitude of Thai people that entrepreneurship is a valid choice for individuals who wish to engage in commerce. In many cases family and kinfolk provide supportive networks. The prevailing business climate in Thailand also contributes to high levels of entrepreneurship. GEM research data suggests that individuals are encouraged to engage in own business activity by high levels of open entry to markets. Similarly, an accessible commercial and physical infrastructure is conducive to entrepreneurship at all levels of society.
